The Apply Payments routine is now deposit based. This feature allows you to quickly scan payments received and processed based on a variety of search criteria. You can also exit the program in the middle of a long and detailed insurance check and later return to the point you were at when you left. Finally, the Apply Payments form now reflects the "Allowed" amount when viewing billing detail.

Batch Transactions and Save Time

You can enter payments by directly entering an entry on an existing bill in the Transaction Entry feature or you can use the Batch Payments feature. Selecting Batch Payments from the Activities menu allows you to enter a check payment for several patients. For example, you can apply an insurance check that covers several patients from this feature.
