Designed for revolutionary mobility the LS800 is the most compact "pure slate" Tablet PC on the market. Motion's MobileDock option provides users with the choice of converting to desktop mode when needed, but does not require users to carry the additional weight of a keyboard and other peripherals when they are not needed. Furthermore, notebooks and convertible Tablet PCs have three high-risk mechanical breakage points: the lid latch, the integrated keyboard, and the hinges. Motion's "pure slate" Tablet PC does not include any of these delicate design elements and is therefore inherently more durable than products with more moving parts.

The Mobile Intel® 915GMS Express chipset is a component of the Intel® CentrinoT mobile technology. Its feature set and package size are optimized to meet the needs of small form factor computers. The Intel® 915GMS chipset provides 1.4x the graphics performance of Intel's previous generation 855GME chipset. The 915GMS Express chipset supports a number of key next-generation features including faster 400MHz DDR2 memory.
